Car flooring has made it easier for us to clean the floor. But the problem arises when we want to move the flooring out of the car. In this case, it may be easier to move the flooring in front of the car. But the rear floor of the car is not possible alone due to its large and one-piece. Consider a glass of drink spilled on the back floor of the car, or after walking along the sandy beach, your shoes are thrown into the car and you alone have to clean the car floor. I can suggest two ideas

Automatic Money Earning Network
By Barry
Presently, the two main options for creating income are working or investing. I recently switched from a disability pension to an aged pension. Being unproductive and basically living off others taxes is not good for my self esteem but I have realised that by making a printer automatic, I can provide and sell something (like stickers or whatever) and become productive and useful again and have the machine do most of the work.
Of course, I am not limited to one machine and the machine doesn’t have to be a printer. It could be a machine that makes paperclips or shoelaces. The idea is only limited by my imagination but the point is, it can work 24/7 and because I don’t need to pay a machine operator, my only running expenses will be basic stock, ink and electricity keeping my prices low.
If I can do this then virtually anyone can. Using a personally owned automatic machine to create income, I can consider getting solar power and help reduce global warming. This idea will also give everyone regardless of gender or race equal pay opportunities. Imagine the advances in science and medicine if this idea was used to fund research.
I believe that this idea, once realised, will change the world. It has the potential to end poverty and vulnerability for millions now and into the future.
Scratching along on a pension and being an electrical novice, it is taking me time to automate a printer which changes its ink and loads its own stock as necessary so I would naturally appreciate help but even without it, I am determined to produce a working model one day soon.
This is the future. It should be the present.

We could conduct randomized controlled trials through a dating app
By William
A dating application, with an interface and mechanics similar to Tinder, Bumble, or Hinge, could be created for the purpose of advancing the science of romance.
Volunteers could download this app, with the full knowledge that they were joining an experiment, and then be randomized into control and experimental groups, both blinded.
Relevant data (e.g., demographics and interests initially, followed by subjective date success after encounters) could be collected, and different matching protocols, date settings, and other variables could be manipulated in a systematically experimental way.
All of this could be done for the purpose of collecting knowledge that could be useful to people trying to facilitate happy mating in the future.

Sock sorting using facial recognition camera on phone
By Mark
If you take a photo of a pile of socks the camera will recognise pairs of socks and put a coloured dot on the screen to show where each pair is located. similar to how camera recognises smiles on faces.

As a kid we would have learned many things from our parents or guardians so it is they who influence our character which we have today. So it's important for every parent to learn how to raise a kid from infant till teen or adult stage.so my idea is to make something which might help parents to learn the proper way of growing a child.

We have mandatory evacuations in the U.S. - why can't more island residents be evacuated before major hurricanes hit?

Takeaways & Restaurants should compete to reduce waste
By Andrew
Create a site for all takeaway restaurants at every level to join (I'm in the UK, so I'm thinking Pret, Itsu, Leon, Subway, McDonalds etc), share design efforts, create a common theme for a universal marketing programme to reduce waste - create marketing & posters to encourage employees and customers to consider packaging, cutlery & any waste - ask 'do you/I need a bag for 1 item?', 'do I need that napkin/cutlery/straw?'.
Designers compete to create the next design for posters for the stores. Common bins, or designs for posters for bins are put in place in stores for employees & customers to recycle.
The whole project has gamification across the board - restaurants & organisations can publish their waste reduction, customers & people can sign up and use the site to sign up restaurants, or to name & shame the worst - eg. stores still giving out takeaway bags for 1 item.
My initial thought is to focus on restaurants, however this could extend to any small stores still giving away plastic bags for shops without asking, or combine/merge with sites doing clean-up efforts (eg. rivers/beached) - if done right, this site could be a huge force, think https://www.littergram.co.uk but for organising community & collaborative efforts for any & every aspect of cleaning up the planet.
Has this been done in any form?
Happy to help develop technology-wise if there's someone driven enough to get it going out there.
