Pajamas / clothes could be chemical-free / naturally flame-retardant

"Back in 1972, when polyester clothing and smoking were near their peaks in the U.S., Congress had passed the Consumer Product Safety Act, creating the Consumer Product Safety Commission, which declared that children's pajamas must be tight- fitting or treated with flame-retardant chemicals. A swatch of fabric from any children's pajama sold in the U.S. needed to withstand three seconds of direct contact with a gas flame without igniting...She contacted a factory that made clothing for firefighters and asked it to weave inherently flame-retardant fibers into organic cotton."
