Foster children could receive Social Security, death / survivorship, or veterans benefits rather than the state

The U.S. military industrial complex could be too powerful / create wars

News media, journalism, and/or social media could be independent of government / censorship

NIH scientists / employees could not receive financial royalties / perks

The U.S. Department of Defense could pass audits

A majority of U.S. FDA funding could not come from the pharmaceutical industry

The Overseas Operations Contingency (OCO) Fund could not be a slush fund

U.S. weapon sales could require congressional review

FBI informants / infiltrators / agent provocateurs could have more oversight

Judges could be recused from cases where they have financial interests

U.S. government whistleblowing could improve

The U.S. executive branch could be limited in potential power

Governments could show the impact of economic development subsidies / corporate incentives and tax breaks

Government performance auditing could be publicized more and tackle risky topics

The revolving door / regulatory capture between government and industry could be fixed

Medical software could be easier / quicker / inter-operable

Prosecutors and judges could be held accountable for misconduct
