Primary health care could be modeled after the Veterans Affairs health system

By Hicbd

In the Veteran Affairs health system, Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) assigns a health care team- physician, nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant, a registered nurse, pharmacist, social work, psychologist- to a patient. This allows preventative health and chronic disease care and education to be easily coordinated and delivered.

Guns could have additional required consumer safety standards / features / inventions

By Hicbd

Guns could be required to

- have indicator lights to show whether a bullet is present in the chamber
- be impossible to fire if dropped
- have non-erasable serial numbers
- have microstamping ballistic technology (that marks each bullet with a unique serial code)
- include trigger locks and other child-proofing devices as standard equipment
- technology that would render guns inoperable by anyone except their approved purchaser
