I would better be able to explain using an example say soccer.Cameras in soccer matches are used to collect precise location of ball, players, and reffere. These are sent to a computer online (This shall require low data) The computer already contains saved graphical data for players, pitch and so on (Such databases alreaddy present in Fifa/PES games). The data is used by the computer to give a real-time simulation of match. This shall give higher quality streaming at slow internet connections

tor | This is actually an awesome idea. With such a stream, people could use different clients for displaying the data however they wanted. I'd like to have just some 2-d dots representing players and the ball in a little window on my computer, maybe with some replays of goals or near-goals as they happen. This may not save the world, but it's a really good idea. |
