Forest restoration projects could be careful to not plant monoculture / flammable trees

"Planting trees can increase the risk of wildfires if the trees are planted in monocultures or if they are flammable species...Planting a mix of tree species, including broad-leaved trees like birch, can help prevent wildfires from spreading. Broad-leaved trees don't burn as severely as conifers. Planting trees in a more strategic way can also help prevent wildfires."
