Generic medications could be less regulated than brand-name / unable to be sued

"For one thing, most generics are manufactured abroad, where lax standards, lack of regulation, and outright fraud compromise their quality...they are (also) not required by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to contain exactly the same amount of active ingredient or to deliver it at the same rate or in the same way."
