As shown by companies like QuikTrip, Costco, Mercadona, “human-centered operations strategies” like middle-class wages and cross-training employees could result in:
-Enhancing worker productivity
-Increasing sales
-Reducing the time merchandise is held in inventory
-Reducing sick leave costs
