My Idea is simple
it can be used to grow trees in arias that have low water supply
The Idea is to plant a tree that comes with solar powered wifi hotspot and a moisture sensitive switch on the wifi hotspot
so any one who pour water in to our baby tree gets free wifi
I think this way is so suitable for urban cause lot of people with smart phones and wifi enable devices
and the its hard to implement a dedicated water supply for each plant we plant
for this method we only need simple hardware + ISP and that cost less
