Critical theories and activist scholarship could be examined / taught / published accurately with room for debate

Judges could be protected more

U.S. political appointees could be qualified, accountable, have different criteria for selection, and be reduced in size

Facilitated group discussions could create civil discourse

Algorithms could reduce rather than increase filter bubbles and division

Tech companies could remove hate speech and wildly untrue content

News could be balanced

Bots could be kicked off social media

Congress could have more in-house expertise

Group meals could ease political polarization

Citizens could be encouraged to take part in a year of public service

Congress could operate on a coordinated schedule

Small dollar funding could support political campaigns

Committee vacancies could be filled by lottery
