How Wildlife Conservation / Biodiversity could be different

"Living coastlines" could be fortified with coconuts to prevent coastal erosion / support wildlife

Reintroducing wolves could be both good and bad

Sonar / noise could not harm whales / marine life

Ponds could be good for the environment

Illegal marijuana growers / cartels could be stopped in California

Seawalls could be living

Wildlife conservation could involve gaming / active ecological intervention

Whales / wildlife could be prevented from being struck by ships

Fake spiderwebs could not be used outside to not harm wildlife

Rodent poison could not injure / kill birds of prey, snakes, and larger animals

Cruise ships could pollute less / dump less sewage / use different fuel

Endangered species field guides / apps could be developed to aid law enforcement

"Forest backpacks" could prevent illegal logging / encourage sustainable forestry

Leaky septic tanks and fertilizer runoff could be prevented to provide seagrass to manatees

Bullets could be made from copper or steel to prevent lead poisoning in animal food chains

Beavers could restore habitats and protect against climate change / floods

Hedgerows could be good for the environment and agriculture

Sustainable forestry and fishing practices could become viable livelihoods

Anti-poaching rangers could be better monitored for human rights abuses

Land and sea could be rewild-ed

Rail lines could become parks, hiking trails, art, or wildlife corridors

Wildlife corridors could encourage biodiversity and conservation

Deep sea mining could be destructive

City buildings could be dimmed at night to save birds

Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) could help with wildlife conservation

Seafood could be made from plants

National parks could be created in warzones / post-conflict areas

Advanced geospatial monitoring and mining tools preventing use of mercury/opportunities for miners could protect the environment

Gold mining could not destroy the Amazon rainforest

The demand for rosewood furniture could be decreased to save lemurs, endangered species, and forests

The Pebble mine could not be built or be built safely in Alaska

Ad campaigns could reduce demand for products that harm wildlife conservation

Dehorning rhinos, tracking devices, and/or rhino ranches could help save them

Substitute man-made rhino horns and elephant tusks could be sold

Dams could harm river ecosystems and wildlife

Wildlife bridges / tunnels could save animals and people

Transformative, eco-friendly, and educational nature experiences could lead to conservation

Lions, leopards, cheetahs, wolves, and other animals could be scared away by flashing lights

Endangered species and plants could be moved to less threatened environments

Dogs could scare away bears and coyotes

Milkweed could be planted to aid monarch butterfly migration

Signal processing could detect gunshots from animal poachers

Palm / coconut oil use could be truly certified as sustainable

Glysophate / pesticides / herbicides could have harmful effects on animal and human health

Zoos could be inhumane

Feral cats could be trapped, neutered, and returned

Wild animals could have hospitals

Water could be provided to wild animals during droughts

Limited legal hunting of animals could lead to conservation

Seismic blasting could be changed to prevent damage to ocean ecosystems

How zoos can be more popular

Extinct species could be brought back to life

Natural predators could be trained to hunt the lionfish

Herding livestock could prevent desertification
